SomeSome is a newly opened Korean BBQ restaurant tucked in a lane in Da'an District. The staff all look quite young, and the interior is bright and clean with a touch of Muji-style minimalism and modern flair — compared to more traditional Korean restaurants, it's the style I personally prefer. You get proper Korean BBQ plus the must-have unlimited refills of Korean banchan side dishes. Expect around NT$500-700 per person, which is very reasonable for Da'an District, and the flavors are quite authentic. If you love Korean food, you'll definitely love this place — it's great for gatherings with friends, date nights, or family dinners.
It has a 4.8-star rating on Google, so clearly everyone loves this restaurant. Highly recommended — just be sure to book ahead via Inline or OpenTable before you go!

SomeSome — Classic Korean BBQ
SomeSome serves classic Korean BBQ, seafood pancakes, tofu stew, and bibimbap in a fresh, bright dining space — it's quite a distinctive spot in Taipei.
Korean BBQ in a Da'an District Lane
Located in a lane in Da'an District, it's just a 7-minute walk from MRT Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station, so getting there is easy. Nearby you'll find the Taipei Dome, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, and Zhongshan Park — great spots for a post-dinner stroll.
Dining Environment
It's a ground-floor storefront with simple, modern decor. The dining area is bright and clean with a decent amount of space — it feels really comfortable in person.

Ordering: One Meat Minimum + Unlimited Banchan Refills + Complimentary Tofu Soup
The house rule is a minimum order of one BBQ meat plate per table. All the meat is freshly sliced to order, and the open kitchen lets you watch the chefs at work — reassuring, I'd say.
The Korean banchan and condiments are self-serve with unlimited refills — absolutely fantastic. This is the essential service every Korean restaurant should have!
Each meal also comes with a complimentary tofu soup (the version without beef), which is a really thoughtful touch.

Lettuce Wraps, Korean Banchan, Beef Tofu Soup, Seafood Pancake
The BBQ was excellent. We ordered the beef brisket and beef ribs — the meat quality was great and everything tasted delicious, especially wrapped up in classic lettuce wraps. The banchan came in a wide variety and all of it was tasty. The seafood pancake was comparatively ordinary, though still decent. The tofu soup was rich and full of flavor. All in all, a very satisfying meal.
