Jin Her Italian Bistro (今鶴義式餐酒館) Fengjia branch is part of a small chain of all-in-one restaurants serving brunch, various set meals, pasta, afternoon tea and drinks, open from 10:30 in the morning until 21:30 at night. The whole building is built from stacked white shipping containers with huge floor-to-ceiling windows, so both the space and the natural light are lovely. It can seat anything from a table for two up to big groups, making it great for dates or group dinners. Expect to spend about NT$400~NT$600 per person. I especially recommend their brunch plates and the signature soufflé for dessert.

It gets busy on weekends, so I'd suggest calling 04-24522081 ahead to book~

Jin Her Fengjia — A White Container Building Surrounded by Greenery

Jin Her Italian Bistro looks incredibly stylish from the outside — stacked white shipping containers with big floor-to-ceiling windows, a real eye-catcher.

Location and Getting There

The Fengjia branch sits near Feng Chia University (Google Maps link), and there's a decent amount of roadside parking, so getting here is pretty easy. There's also another branch on Gongyi Road that may be closer for you (Google Maps link) — worth checking out too!

Dining Environment

The building has three floors, all very comfortable, and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows are beautiful. The sun does shine in at times, but the air conditioning is strong enough that it never gets hot — overall a really pleasant place to eat.

Brunch and Japanese-Style Set Meals

I came here for a get-together with friends and we ordered the grilled chicken leg, thick-cut salmon fillet, and Angus steak, plus a plum chicken set meal. Everything tasted really good and the portions were generous — even big eaters should leave full. I had the Angus steak myself, cooked to about medium-well, and the meat was quite tender~

The difference between the brunch and the set meals is the sides: brunch comes with a croissant, fries, scrambled eggs and salad, while the set meals come with rice, soup and small side dishes. You can order anything at any time of day though, so just pick whichever combination you feel like.

Everything on the physical menu looks delicious, and the selection is huge — there's something for every kind of taste. You order via your phone and pay at the counter, and signing up as a member gets you some extra perks, which is also worth a look.
