Xinle Street Night Market Area & Layout

The market mainly covers the cross formed by Xinle Street (known as the milk tea street and the gold jewelry street) and Dayong Road, plus the surrounding lanes. The four ends of the cross open onto Daren Road, Qixian Road, Wufu Road and Dazhi Road. The area isn't huge, but with the crowds and the sheer variety of stalls, it still takes around 2 hours to see it all!

How to Get There — Transportation Tips

MRT

The MRT is by far the easiest way to get here! Just take the Orange Line to Yanchengpu Station Exit 2 and you'll come out right in the heart of the market.

Light Rail

If you want to combine the night market with Pier-2, or with big seasonal exhibitions like the Chiikawa show in 2025 or the giant yellow rubber duck in 2024, the light rail is the way to go. Ride to Glory Pier Station, Love Pier Station or Pier-2 Dayi Station, enjoy the exhibitions, then walk over to Xinle Street Night Market — though it's a 10–15 minute walk.

If you're heading straight for the night market, ride to Shoushan Park Station — it's the closest stop, and you can start browsing from the Qixian Road entrance.

By Car

The larger parking lots in Yancheng District include the Kaohsiung Multi-Story Parking Garage, City Parking Lot (Park Station) and the Xinle Street & Anshi Street Parking Lot, plus some street parking. But expect traffic control, big crowds, congestion and full lots — so driving is honestly the option I'd recommend least.

By Scooter

A scooter gives you much more flexibility than a car. Scooter parking spots aren't plentiful, but they're still easier to find than car spaces. Please do park in proper spots, though, so we don't disrupt the daily lives of local residents.
