Pier-2 Night Market sits in Yancheng District, and with the Pier-2 Art Center, KW2 (Zhan Er Ku), the Kaohsiung Music Center, and countless arts events happening nearby, the crowds keep growing every Saturday around dinnertime. If you're visiting Kaohsiung's Yancheng District on a weekend, don't miss it. The market isn't big — you can walk through it quickly — but the stalls rarely repeat and cover a lot of ground, making it a lovely evening stroll to soak up Kaohsiung's relaxed atmosphere.
Unlike Liuhe Night Market or Ruifeng Night Market, Pier-2 Night Market is much smaller in scale, but that means browsing it feels pressure-free while still satisfying all your eating and drinking needs. If you're staying around Yancheng, out-of-town visitors don't necessarily need to trek to Liuhe or Ruifeng — instead, combine this with the Pier-2 area and Sizihwan for a day trip, which actually makes for a smoother itinerary.
One more thing: when it rains, fewer stalls come out to set up. Once during a heavy downpour, only half the vendors showed up — so the weather really makes a big difference in how good this night market is to browse.

Pier-2 Night Market Area and How to Get There
Pier-2 Night Market sits at the end of Jianguo 4th Road (Google Maps link). The area isn't large — about two blocks long (outlined in red below). It's right next to KW2 (Zhan Er Ku), the Great Harbor Bridge, the Pier-2 Great Lawn, and the Dayi warehouse cluster, all within a 5-minute walk. Even the Kaohsiung Music Center is reachable with a leisurely 20-minute stroll.
If you're taking public transport, both the Hamasen and Penglai Pier-2 light rail stations are a short walk away, and it's about a 10-minute walk from Yanchengpu MRT station. There are also U-bike stations nearby, and scooter parking is easy. Driving is the only tricky option since there aren't many parking lots around — try your luck for a spot on Qixian Road or Gongyuan Road.
