Pamma Coffee (泮咖啡) is a multi-concept restaurant on the shore of Lotus Pond in Kaohsiung's Zuoying District, serving everything from brunch and main meals to afternoon tea, creative drinks and cafe fare. I highly recommend coming during the day — sitting inside with the air-conditioning on, sipping coffee while gazing out at the blue sky, white clouds and lake view is truly delightful.

You can find Eggs Benedict here — that American-style soft-poached-egg dish is my absolute favorite — and the other dishes are delicious too. The restaurant is big, bright and spacious, great for couples, photo-loving visitors, and family gatherings. The only caveat is that it gets a bit noisy inside, so it's probably not the place for business meetings. But since everyone comes to relax, chat and eat, the vibe is wonderfully chill — it genuinely feels like being on vacation, letting you briefly escape the noise of the city and work.

Pamma Coffee: Brunch · Light Meals · Afternoon Tea · Coffee

The entire building is a pure white glass house with a very refined look that fits today's fashionable aesthetic. Right next to it is a huge stretch of lake, set against blue skies and white clouds. The dishes and drinks are carefully plated and presented too, making this a perfect spot for photos.

Location and Access

Pamma Coffee sits on the shore of Lotus Pond in Zuoying (Google Maps link). Whether you come by scooter or car, there's roadside parking nearby, so it's quite convenient. There are also YouBike docking stations around, so out-of-town visitors could cycle around the lake and stop by for a drink and a meal — a lovely half-day itinerary.

Menu and Ordering

Dishes here run about NT$200~400 each; add a set upgrade or a drink plus the service charge, and you're looking at roughly NT$400~600 per person. Simply mark your order on the sheet and pay at the counter. Food can take a while during weekend crowds — we visited on a long-weekend afternoon and waited a bit over 10 minutes.

Dining Experience

This time we ordered the American-style Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the oven-roasted pork jowl frittata in a cast-iron skillet. The Eggs Benedict was done really well and the portion was very generous — maybe a bit too much bread if you're a light eater. The smoked salmon was great too, but note that it's served raw, so skip it if raw food isn't your thing.

The oven-roasted pork jowl cast-iron frittata was excellent. Using a frittata instead of rice boosts the satisfaction factor while cutting down on carbs — a great idea. The pork was roasted beautifully fragrant and delicious, and it pairs wonderfully with the frittata. Both dishes we ordered this time come highly recommended!

We also ordered a side of fried chicken soft bone. The portion was decent and it was seriously tasty~ There's a good amount of meat on the cartilage, fried wonderfully crispy and fragrant. Definitely worth ordering a plate!
