Keziliao Fish Market — Kaohsiung's Largest Tourist Fish Market
Keziliao Fish Market (蚵仔寮觀光魚市) in Kaohsiung is one of southern Taiwan's best-known fishing harbor destinations, famous for its fresh catches and huge variety of seafood dishes. Fishing boats return to port early every morning loaded with the day's catch, so visitors can buy seafood at its absolute freshest. Beyond the fish stalls, the market is home to several seafood restaurants serving delicious cooked-to-order dishes like steamed fish, seafood hot pot, and grilled shrimp — fresh, tasty, and very reasonably priced.
Keziliao Fish Market — Direct-Sale Seafood Center
The direct-sale seafood center is the star attraction here. Inside you'll find an incredible range of fresh seafood — pretty much everything you could want. After picking out your seafood, you can take it to the cook-to-order stalls next door (like Mama Liu's and others) and enjoy it on the spot. It's a wonderfully relaxed outing for the whole family, from grandparents to kids.

Keziliao Ziguan District Fishermen's Association
The Ziguan District Fishermen's Association is a key pillar of local fishing culture. It promotes fishing techniques, provides services to local fishermen, and works to grow the fishing economy and add value to local seafood products — acting as a bridge between fishermen and consumers. Through direct sales and events, the association lets shoppers buy fresh seafood at great prices; local specialties like milkfish, cuttlefish, and oysters are especially popular. Here you'll also find vacuum-packed frozen seafood and plenty of seafood-based gift sets, giving visitors even more options to take home.

Keziliao Traditional Market Stalls
Outside the fish market you'll find rows of traditional street stalls selling ready-to-eat snacks like oyster fritters (o-de), deep-fried seafood, and "big sausage wrapped around small sausage." Just wandering and snacking your way through, you'll probably be full before you know it! My top pick is Tsai's fresh-caught fried seafood (蔡現撈現炸) — you'd be hard-pressed to find it anywhere else!
